interests: Reading and writing are probably my biggest non-fandom interests. I'm currently going through a whole list of classics with the intent of doing my own close reading on the narrative (current book is To Kill A Mockingbird). This is just for fun, but it ties in to my major; I'm working toward a degree in Creative Writing because I love being poor. I write a lot of fanfiction that I never finish and it is my goal to at least write the first chapter of my Skies of Arcadia AU epic before summer ends. I enjoy astrology and tarot even if I don't necessarily swear by it; sometimes the stuff I get from it is exactly the advice I need to hear. Sometimes I draw (I'm not very good) and I like learning different methods to get more comfortable with drawing. Horror is my absolute favorite genre and I love anything that deals in it. I greatly prefer paranormal stories to slashers but I consume any and all of the media. Nosleep is basically just a list of bedtime stories for me. I love trashy TV, it's a terrible vice of mine. I make a lot of crap. I also co-write a webcomic with my sister and have for several years -- we're relaunching it soon, since we were a Featured comic on Inkblazers and you know the story. It's been homeless for almost six months. Wow! I'm still bitter!

HISTORY. HISTORY. I have my Bachelor's in history and i love it. Mostly medieval Western European history and also 20th century world history. I also like writing, mostly fanfiction, but I haven't done much of that since before college. I love DWRPing, but I'm not active in that atm either (also because of college). I also really love making icons and other graphics, although what I make is usually highly biased to my personal tastes and not much else.

I like reading too! When I'm not reading about history, I'm into fantasy, YA novels, comics, and anything with a healthy dose of snide dismissal. I'm also an avid doujinshi collector! I've been collecting for almost ten years now. It's one of my favorite hobbies, even though my Japanese is terrible. Also I love playing video games: mostly rpgs, mmos, adorable life sims, and anything that doesn't require too much skill.
